Ask ChatGPT or Claude about your money
Brixa is an AI budget app that connects your European bank accounts, sorts every transaction, and lets ChatGPT or Claude answer your questions from those real numbers, read-only.
Add Brixa to ChatGPT or Claude once, then ask in plain words: where did my money go, how much did I spend on Uber this year, could a trip in March fit. The assistant reads your Brixa through read-only tools, and every total it quotes is worked out by Brixa from your categorized transactions, not added up by the AI from a list.

Where did my money go?
You ask
Where did my money go in October?
The answer, from your Brixa
In October you spent €2,486, about €190 more than in September. Rent was the biggest part at €950, then groceries at €412 and eating out at €268. Eating out grew the most: 14 visits against 9 the month before. Money you moved to your savings account is not counted as spending, so of your €3,100 income you kept €614.
An example with made-up figures. Yours come from your own accounts and categories, and while a month is still running Brixa tells the assistant which days a figure covers.
Totals for any shop or person
Ask “How much did I spend on Uber this year?” and Brixa searches every connected account, adds up every ride, takes refunds off and splits it by month. The assistant quotes that total rather than counting rows itself.
Budgets, as the month goes
Ask “Which budgets am I over this month?” and get each budget next to what you have spent so far, and whether you are ahead of the month or behind it.
Goals with a plan
Ask “Am I on track for my Japan trip?” and the answer uses the goal you set in Brixa: what is saved, what is left, and what each month needs to reach it by your date.
Subscriptions and price rises
Ask “What subscriptions do I pay for?” and see every active recurring charge with its cost per month, the next expected date, and any price that went up.
Could I afford it?
Ask “Could a trip in March fit?” and the assistant works it through from your last months of income and spending. It is a what-if from your own history, never a promise, and Brixa asks the assistant to word it that way.
Balances, and how fresh they are
Ask “How much do I have across my accounts?” and get each balance, the total, and when each bank last synced, so you know how current the number is.
What it can and cannot see
It sees your transactions, spending, budgets, goals, subscriptions and balances, including the names of people you pay. If you exclude an account in Brixa, it does not see that account either. It cannot change anything in Brixa and cannot move money, and you can disconnect it at any time.

Questions people ask
A budgeting app that uses AI for the tedious parts. Brixa sorts every transaction from your bank into a category with AI, and with the connector you can also ask ChatGPT or Claude about your money in plain words, answered from your own figures.
With Brixa connected, ChatGPT or Claude can look at what you spent in each category over recent months and suggest monthly amounts that fit your real spending. You then set the budgets in the Brixa app: the connector only reads, so it cannot change anything for you.
It helps most with questions about your own spending, when it works from your real, categorized numbers instead of guesses. Treat anything about the future as a what-if, check the figures that matter in the app, and take investment or tax decisions to a professional.
A pasted statement is one account at one moment, with no categories, and the whole file stays in your chat. With Brixa, the assistant sees every connected account, already categorized and up to date, through a read-only sign-in you can switch off, and it looks up only the figures a question needs.
Your transactions, spending, budgets, goals, subscriptions and balances, including the names of people you pay. If you exclude an account in Brixa, the assistant does not see it either. What the assistant reads becomes part of your chat, under OpenAI’s or Anthropic’s privacy terms.
If Brixa connects your bank, the connector works with it. Brixa connects to 2,700+ banks across 29 European countries through regulated open banking, read-only.
No. It is part of Brixa and works while your free trial or subscription is active. ChatGPT and Claude have their own plans and settings for custom connectors.
Sign in to Brixa at usebrixa.com/app, open Settings, then Connected AI, and choose Disconnect. Access stops at once. You can also remove Brixa from the connectors in ChatGPT or Claude.
