Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ZATECH personal finance application and related services (the “Service”), operated by ZATECH. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service helps you aggregate, categorize, and review your personal financial transactions from connected bank accounts and imported statements. Transaction connectivity is provided through Enable Banking (enablebanking.com), a licensed open-banking provider regulated under PSD2, and automated categorization may use third-party AI processing. The Service is provided for personal information and budgeting purposes only.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Bank Connections

When you connect a bank account, you authorize our open-banking provider to access account and transaction information on your behalf, in accordance with the consent you grant during the connection flow. You may revoke consent at any time through the Service or your bank. We do not store your bank login credentials.

4. Not Financial Advice

The Service provides informational tools and summaries. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and nothing in the Service should be relied upon as such. Categorizations and figures may be incomplete or inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access data that is not yours, interfering with the Service’s operation, reverse engineering it, or using it to violate any applicable law.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties including open-banking, AI categorization, hosting, and database providers. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms. We are not responsible for the availability or actions of third-party services.

7. Subscriptions

Certain features may require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing periods, and renewal terms will be disclosed at the point of purchase. Where required by law, you may be entitled to a refund or cancellation right.

8. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZATECH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information presented in the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
