Read-only by design
Brixa can see transactions but can never move money, and your bank password is never stored by Brixa. You sign in with your bank through Plaid, and you can see or remove the connection at any time.
Card payments counted once
Paying off a card is not spending twice. When the card is connected, Brixa counts the purchases and treats the payment as a transfer, so your monthly totals stay honest.
Sorted the moment it arrives
Every transaction is categorized as it arrives, using Plaid's categories and AI where they are not sure. Correct anything with two taps and Brixa remembers.

Not when the card is connected: the purchases are the spending and the payment is a transfer between your own accounts. If the card is not connected, the payment is the only view Brixa has of that spending, so it counts.
